Excerpt

Noah pulled a woman out from behind the driver’s wheel, lifted her into his arms in one deft movement, and carried her to safely as the car exploded behind him. The person shooting the footage zoomed in on the back of Noah’s plaid shirt. He appeared to be burning and as the shirt fell apart, it was clear that his back was blistering from the flames. Noah helped the woman to a safe distance and paused for a moment with her.
