Avery

Avery became a Military Firearms Instructor and Gunsmith 10 years ago. Her passion for firearms and instructing started in the Air Force and has since spilled over into the civilian sector. Avery recently found her calling and opened her own firearms training business, Skip’s Tactical Solutions.

Although the firearms industry is dominated by men she wants to show that women can do the same thing and still look good doing it. Her mission is to effectively teach men and women the skills, attitude, and knowledge necessary to own and safely operate a firearm for personal defense, home protection, and sport. Avery wants to make firearms a positive thing that families can enjoy together. She prides herself on not only inspiring but also enabling women to develop the tactics, techniques, and procedures to properly defend themselves. Avery wants to spread positive images of women in the 2A community
